Impact meets regularly on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month from 7:00-8:30pm. The meeting format varies from month to month, but typically features group games, worship through song, relevant teaching and one-on-one discussion between parents and their students. At the end of the 2nd Wednesday meeting, moms and dads also benefit from a 30 min. parent training time which includes teaching, testimonies and Q&A.
Next to teaching from God's Word, the one-on-one discussion time is the most important component of the meeting. And it's a big reason why at least one parent is required to attend with their child. If the idea of a 20 minute conversation between you and your son or daughter on a spiritual topic sounds awkward, don't worry! We give parents questions to ask their son or daughter and vice versa. God has born much fruit through these conversations over the years and we trust you'll experience the same when you attend.
In addition to the Wednesday evening meetings, Impact also participates in group activities and service projects throughout the year. All upcoming Impact events are posted on the student ministry calendar.
